TOPSY MOLA GAICD
Owner & Principal Consultant
Topsy is a proud Wagadagam and Dowareb woman with ancestral ties to Mabuiag and Murray Islands in the Torres Strait. She brings over 30 years of senior experience across government and community sectors, with a strong reputation for leadership, cultural authority, and strategic influence.
She specialises in cultural advisory services, cultural capability development, strategic planning, and advocacy, supporting organisations to strengthen practice through culturally informed, evidence-based approaches.
Topsy has led systemic change for families impacted by domestic and family violence for more than 15 years and holds a Ministerial appointment to the State Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Group.
A graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Topsy serves on multiple Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-controlled boards and advisory bodies. She has also led major community events, including Townsville NAIDOC and Mabo Day celebrations, for over a decade.
Topsy is deeply committed to empowering individuals and communities to reclaim voice, build strength, and achieve lasting, culturally grounded outcomes.
TEEYANNA SALABOGI
Executive Director
Teeyanna is a proud Bindal, Birrah, Dowareb and Waggadagam woman from Townsville, Queensland. Her connections to Country stretch along Far North Queensland being the Birrigubba Nation from Townsville to Collinsville, and Dowar and Mabuiag Islands in the Torres Straits.
She completed a Bachelor of Law and Arts (Indigenous Studies and Criminology) at UNSW and has approximately 10 years experience working in both the public and private sector of the legal profession.
Teeyanna values respect, culture, community and education; and strongly believes that the ability to access support and opportunities, without having to compromise their cultural identity, is paramount to creating a better future for her people. She is passionate about providing tools of empowerment and believes in people’s personal strength which will allow them to take control of their own lives.
