Guided by Knowledge. Strengthened Through Culture.

Thrilled to share my insights as a panel speaker at the unforgettable launch of Mike Carney’s Reconciliation Action Plan. It was an evening dedicated to reflection, connection, and progress. I was also honoured to spend time with all First Nations staff at Mike Carney, sharing cultural knowledge and fostering open communication and connection with the team.

DVNQ Action Group invited Topsy to be the Emcee for the Courage to Change - Inspiring Innovation in the Domestic & Family Violence Sector Conference, held in Townsville.
With over 150 registrations from Mount Isa, Palm Island, Townsville, Mackay, Brisbane, Cairns, and surrounding communities, the conference brought together an incredible mix of voices, experiences, and perspectives.
There were amazing presenters who inspired, challenged, and reminded attendees that change is possible, but it takes all of us.
Courage to change doesn’t always come in big moments. Sometimes it’s the small, everyday actions that create the biggest ripples.

Mola Consulting was proud to work alongside Link2Nation to lead the facilitation on Ryan’s Rule community consultations in Townsville, creating safe, inclusive spaces to talk about patient rights and self-advocacy within the health system.
Ryan’s Rule is a critical process that allows patients, families, or carers to escalate concerns when they feel someone’s health condition is not being properly addressed in a Queensland public hospital. Understanding our rights especially within a culturally safe framework is essential for ensuring everyone receives the care and respect they deserve.
Topsy’s commitment to providing exceptional and culturally appropriate service delivery for First Nations peoples is demonstrated by through her many roles, appointments, and community commitments. These continue to shape her leadership and practice, and strengthens every training, program, and partnership delivered by Mola Consulting.
